Semplice danza in levare arises from the desire to regenerate the danced gesture and clean it up from the story-telling, while retaining an inner reference to the emotion and the life experience that generated that mood in another time and space. The body is exposed, finds a direct physicality and an essential form of expression. The emotion becomes ‘acted space’. Presence and memory are lightened up and simply offered to the audience’s gaze. Dedicated to all the losses and abandonments.

(…) This time, there is no metateatrical speech, no direct interaction with the audience, only the desire to guide  in a more intimate territory and give back a precise temperature. The dimension is almost nocturnal. Body falls from emptiness in an unknown and not always welcoming space. I have worked mainly on this imaginary space-time, on recognizing and following invisible paths, and on the attempt to build up some brand new ones. In a nutshell, it is a work on memory, loss and abandonment: both of the body itself, left to fall and to happen in a space, and of that which inhabits that body, that is of consciousness, of mind and soul .
