The monsoon is movement around the globe; it is the power of natural elements such as wind, water and earth; it is cyclical in bringing change and stability, desolation and at the same time life. The human being experiences a similar phenomenon throughout his existence. Its body, in a continuous change of cyclical phases, becomes an instrument of destruction and creation.

Monsoon is a show that combines taiko art, dance and electronic music, reflecting on the relationship between human being and nature and the emergencies of the environment and climate. The Italian-Japanese choreographer Masako Matsushita gives life to a choreography for three dancers who aspires to deeply touch the spectator’s sensitivity through the vibrations of music and the power of movement.
