“20-20” is a short, very physical duet, born out of the desire to pick up the trail of KUNIKULI, a female duet born in 2009 in Belgium, developed in Holland and shown to the public and taught in academies several times over the years around Europe.
The key words of kunikuli were: explosive energy, female duet, elasticity of spaces and situations in which to present it, carefree and joyful taking of those spaces and transforming them into crystalline kinetic desire.

In 2020 we laid the foundations for a new duet, “20-20”, mirroring the past one and yet very different.
Our work was to start again only ideally from that material to rework it and transform it radically in the light of new times and a new reflection, completely physical, on the feminine, a central theme for us, taking it from points of view and with very different ideas. With two new dancers, Elisa Quadrana and Francesca Mazzoni, the desire that guided us was to explore which language, which physical presence and which atmosphere can project us into a new contemporaneity. What is a female duet? What, if any, is ‘gender’, from an exquisitely physical and dynamic point of view? How does one inhabit space – from the street, to the shop, to the foyer, to the theatre – using only two bodies, their spatial, geometric, choreographic relationship, and the essential kinetic energy released by the bodies? 
With what vocabulary, accents and subtractions do we want to express this new dance that comes from our past and projects us into a time that stuns us, presses us with questions that are perhaps not yet comprehensible, but does not take away for a moment the need to be in movement with hearts, minds and bodies once again in play?
